I'm hearing, seeing and reading more and more that brings me to the conviction that the whole Global Warming story is a hoax. An inconvenient lie.

The movie "An Inconvenient Truth", which states that humans cause global warming by their high CO2 emissions (industry, cars, yes even cow shit and farts), is mainly based on an alarming report by the United Nations "Panel" IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). The IPCC had stated in their report of 1995 that:

".. there is a 90% chance that human activity is warming the planet, and that global average temperatures will rise by another 1.5 to 5.8C this century, depending on emissions."

With the help of Al Gore a "religion" has formed that supports this Global Warming theory, and to question it is considered blasphemy. There are numerous investigations around the world that try to find solutions on how we can store CO2 in the ground or reduce "carbon footprints" by implementing carbon credits .

The weird thing is that the same IPCC that created the report in 1995 has now created two reports that state that the earth will cool down in the next three decades and that:

“Atmospheric model simulations of the last half-century with prescribed observed ocean temperature changes, but without prescribed GHG [Green House Gas, e.g. CO2] changes, account for most of the land warming.”

The question I have is why? What was there to gain by spreading this apparent lie and still maintaining this lie? Why is Barack Obama planning to invest large amounts of money in "reducing our Greenhouse Gas Emissions 80 Percent by 2050"? Who will gain from this? There must be a money flow associated with it. Can you help me figure it out?
