Bill Moyers interviewed a former Vice President of CIGNA, a large Health Insurance Company. This former Vice President Wendell Potter gives us a shocking inside look into the kitchen of this Company.
Profits before patients, tactics and techniques to influence and scare the public and congress, ties to the Democrats and Republicans, down playing Sicko the movie of Michael Moore, and more....

A great interview with Sheldon Richman (Foundation for Economic Education) who explains the current economic crisis and the flawed way the Obama government is dealing with trying to combat it.
Topics:
- Is the cause of the current crisis too much market / too little government control?
- The housing bubble
- Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae
- Federal Reserve
Let me know what you think about it.
While in the Netherlands the Christian government is trying to eradicate "coffee shops" where you can currently legally smoke some herbs that are not nearly as dangerous as alcohol and smoking cigarettes, Ron Paul speaks his mind about legalizing Marijuana and has a more intelligent view about this subject.
A beautiful visual explanation of the current crisis.

This is an incredibly fascinating and captivating movie about the coup against Hugo Chavez in 2002. The events were captured up close by an Irish television crew who were there to record a documentary about Chavez.
The disturbing thing about this film is that it shows how important media is in shaping the minds of people. This makes me very grateful that the Internet is there, which allows you to search for your own truth by multiple sources around the world. It certainly strengthens my belief that many of the media companies bring media with a political and economic agenda in the background. The realization that many large media networks in the US are owned by, controlled by, or entangled with large private companies - for example NBC Universal is owned by General Electric - does not bode well for the principle of bringing unbiased news.
I'm hearing, seeing and reading more and more that brings me to the conviction that the whole Global Warming story is a hoax. An inconvenient lie.
The movie "An Inconvenient Truth", which states that humans cause global warming by their high CO2 emissions (industry, cars, yes even cow shit and farts), is mainly based on an alarming report by the United Nations "Panel" IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). The IPCC had stated in their report of 1995 that:
".. there is a 90% chance that human activity is warming the planet, and that global average temperatures will rise by another 1.5 to 5.8C this century, depending on emissions."
I have been looking for that explanation about the financial crisis that is easy to understand. And I finally found it!
